The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem K. Raji, has formally endorsed the African Entrepreneurship and Business Summit (AEBS) 2025.
The endorsement was made during a strategic meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, between Dr.
Kazeem and the Executive Event Board of the summit, led by Amb. Justice Kalu, Fawaz Alli, Chinweike Obiejesi
The National Board for Technology Incubation, a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, is charged with promoting and supporting technology-driven enterprises in Nigeria. Over the years, NBTI has played a vital role in nurturing start-ups, driving innovation, and supporting the commercialization of research and development across the country.
Discussions at the meeting underscored NBTI’s contributions to Nigeria’s technology ecosystem, particularly in fostering innovation and creating pathways for entrepreneurship. The Executive Event Board noted that technology and innovation will feature as major themes at AEBS 2025, where stakeholders from across Africa are expected to deliberate on sustainable strategies for economic growth.
Dr. Kazeem welcomed the initiative, expressed strong support for the summit, and confirmed his participation as a keynote speaker.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to collaborate in advancing the role of technology and innovation in shaping Africa’s entrepreneurial and business landscape.
