USADF African Women Entrepreneurs Program – Reimagined Grant 2024 (up to $100,000)
USADF In collaboration with the U.S. Department of State Africa Bureau invites application for the 2024 African Women Entrepreneurs Program Reimagined grant. This is the second application cycle for this grant.
The US African Development Foundation (USADF) has always been at the forefront of supporting economic development and entrepreneurship in Africa. In its latest initiative, the USADF African Women Entrepreneurs Program – Reimagined.
The foundation aims to empower women entrepreneurs across the continent by providing them with financial support of up to $100,000. This groundbreaking program seeks to address the unique challenges faced by women in business and foster their economic empowerment.
The U.S. African Development Foundation is an independent U.S. government agency established by Congress to invest directly in African grassroots enterprises and social entrepreneurs.
Supporting Women Entrepreneurs:
Women entrepreneurs in Africa face numerous obstacles, including limited access to capital, lack of business networks, and gender-based discrimination. The USADF African Women Entrepreneurs Program recognizes these challenges and aims to level the playing field by providing financial resources and mentorship opportunities to women-led businesses.
Grant Details:
The Reimagined Grant 2024 program offers grants of up to USD$50,000 – USD$100,000 to each of the selected winners.
This substantial financial support can be a game-changer for businesses looking to scale up their operations, invest in new technologies, or expand their market reach. The grant funds can be utilized for various purposes, including product development, marketing, training, and infrastructure improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the USADF African Women Entrepreneurs Program – Reimagined Grant 2024, applicants must be majority women-led, African-owned and managed, legally registered, and operational in their respective countries for atleast 3 years. The business is located and operates in a designated USADF program country.

Business owners are not government employees.
Income generating entity (cannot be not for profit)
Applicants from Namibia, Malawi, Mauritania, Senegal, Uganda and Zambia.
