BTS Launches New Lyrics Book And Korean Cookbook For Millions Of ARMY Fans

As part of this year’s BTS Festa celebrations, the seven-member K-pop powerhouse announced an ambitious publishing initiative that will give fans unprecedented access to the stories behind some of the group’s biggest songs and the Korean dishes they enjoy most.

The first release, BTS Lyrics Inside, arrives on September 15 and promises a rare look into the creative process of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.

The officially licensed publication will explore the songwriting, emotions and messages embedded throughout BTS’ extensive catalog.

Fans can expect detailed commentary on songs that helped define the group’s rise to global superstardom. The collection examines chart-topping tracks including “Boy With Luv,” the group’s hit collaboration with Halsey, alongside fan favorites such as “Spring Day,” “Magic Shop,” “Life Goes On,” “Yet to Come,” and “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.”

Importantly, the book presents lyrics in their original Korean form alongside English translations. This approach allows millions of ARMY members worldwide to study the music more closely while gaining deeper insight into the themes BTS has consistently championed throughout its career, including hope, self-love, resilience and personal growth.

However, the publishing plans extend well beyond music.

The group is also preparing to release BTS Recipe Book, a cookbook inspired by different BTS album eras and memorable moments from the members’ lives. Readers will discover recipes for traditional Korean dishes and popular comfort foods that frequently appeared across BTS content over the years.

The cookbook features a diverse menu that includes scorched rice crackers, carp bread, Korean fried chicken, simmered rice cakes, sugar-filled griddlecakes, ginseng chicken soup and braised beef ribs. These dishes have become familiar to longtime fans through appearances on popular BTS programs such as RUN BTS!, Bon Voyage and In the Soop.

Moreover, BTS Recipe Book embraces digital innovation. Special codes included inside the publication unlock exclusive online content featuring cooking demonstrations, preparation tips and personal food commentary from BTS members. The hybrid format creates a more immersive experience while strengthening the connection between the artists and their audience.

The project also reflects the growing importance of fan-focused publishing in the global entertainment industry. Rather than offering a traditional celebrity book, BTS is building an interactive cultural experience that combines music, language, storytelling and Korean cuisine.
