Paris Jackson Escalates Michael Jackson Estate Fight, Demands $463K in Court

She now seeks an extra $463,752, adding new pressure to a long-running legal conflict that continues to attract global attention.

Her legal team argues that the amount represents interest on funds already ordered back by the court.

That earlier ruling invalidated more than $600,000 in bonus payments made to outside law firms working with the estate.

A judge ruled those payments should never have been approved, which marked a key victory for Paris.

Now, she wants the executors, John Branca and John McClain, to cover the full cost, including interest.

Her representatives insist the law requires full repayment once funds are mismanaged.

They also argue that no one should receive preferential treatment, especially in high-value estate management cases like this.

The court had only recently ordered Branca and McClain to return $625,000 linked to the disputed bonuses.

That decision triggered fresh scrutiny over how the estate handles legal fees and external counsel payments.

Even though the executors maintain that such fees always remain subject to court approval, Paris’s camp insists stronger accountability must follow.

Meanwhile, the estate’s legal team has defended its actions.

They maintain that outside lawyers understood the risks tied to court approval and agreed to return funds if a judge rejected the payments.

They also stress that similar bonuses had been approved in the past for extraordinary legal work.

Paris Jackson’s representatives, however, pushed back sharply.

They described the estate’s governance as lacking transparency and accused its leadership of prioritizing personal interests over family responsibility.

They argue the estate should protect beneficiaries, not operate like a discretionary fund for executives.

This legal battle adds another chapter to the ongoing tension between Paris Jackson and the executors of her father’s estate.

She has previously accused them of dismissing her concerns and misrepresenting her public statements.

On the other hand, the executors claim she has fueled media attention with misleading claims.

For now, the dispute remains active in court, with both sides holding firm positions.

The outcome could shape how one of the world’s most valuable celebrity estates continues to be managed.
