
AMVCA11 Cultural Day: African Stars Shine in Traditional Fashion and Creative Excellence
The 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (#AMVCA11) kicked off in grand style with its much-anticipated Cultural Day celebration, a colorful prelude to the main awards night that spotlighted Africa’s rich traditions, heritage, and sartorial elegance.

The Cultural Day has become a key part of the AMVCA experience, giving stars the opportunity to pay homage to their heritage through fashion. This year’s edition was filled with stunning outfits, traditional fabrics, and symbolic accessories that highlighted Africa’s diverse cultures.
Prince Nelson Enwerem was named Best Dressed Male for his powerful tribute to the Great Benin Kingdom. Dressed by @houseofvieve and styled by @princessdaprada, Prince Nelson embodied royalty and tradition, paying homage to the OBA and the ancestral throne. His regal look, photographed by @1fdcreative_, was one of the night’s standout moments.
Liquorose was awarded Best Dressed Female for her Yoruba-inspired look, titled “O MOLA DE.” Her outfit by @prudential_atelier was complemented by bold gele styling by @pop_gele, makeup by @maq_jose, and accessories by @wowaccessorries.
