Global rap superstar Drake has rewritten music history after becoming the first artist ever to occupy the top three positions on the Billboard 200 albums chart simultaneously.
The chart dated May 30, 2026, places Drake’s latest releases ICEMAN, HABIBTI andMaid of Honour at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 respectively, cementing another record-breaking chapter in the Canadian superstar’s career. The historic achievement marks the first time a single act has controlled the top three spots on the Billboard 200 since the chart began publishing weekly rankings in 1956.
ICEMAN led the charge with a massive 463,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during its opening week. The project also delivered the biggest streaming week of 2026 for any album, generating over 462 million on-demand streams across its 18 tracks. Meanwhile, HABIBTI debuted with 114,000 units, while Maid of Honour followed closely with 110,000 units.
The milestone pushes Drake ahead of Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums among male solo artists and R&B/hip-hop acts. Drake now owns 15 Billboard 200 No. 1 albums, tying Taylor Swift among solo performers. Only The Beatles remain ahead with 19 chart-topping albums.
Music fans had anticipated ICEMAN for months after Drake teased the project online. However, the surprise announcements of HABIBTI and Maid of Honour during a livestream hours before release stunned fans across the world and sparked a streaming frenzy immediately after launch.
Beyond dominating the Billboard 200, Drake also extended his record as one of hip-hop’s most commercially successful artists. The rapper now boasts 20 top-10 albums, surpassing Future for the most top-10 projects by any rap act in Billboard history.
Industry analysts say Drake’s latest success highlights the growing influence of streaming culture and fan loyalty in shaping modern chart performance. In addition, the achievement proves the rapper still commands enormous global attention more than a decade after his debut album arrived.
Elsewhere on the chart, LUCKI secured his first Billboard 200 top-10 album as Drgs R Bad* debuted at No. 9. The album earned 51,000 equivalent units during its opening week, boosted by strong streaming numbers and multiple physical editions.
The latest Billboard rankings also featured projects from Michael Jackson, BTS, Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley, reflecting one of the most competitive weeks on the albums chart this year.
Drake’s streaming dominance arrives at a time when artists increasingly rely on digital consumption to drive chart success. According to Billboard data, ICEMAN recorded the biggest streaming week for a rap album since Drake’s own For All the Dogs in 2023.
The achievement has already sparked massive conversations across social media, with fans describing the moment as one of the greatest commercial runs in modern music history. For many industry observers, Drake’s latest chart takeover further strengthens his legacy as one of the defining artists of his generation.
As streaming numbers continue climbing globally, Drake’s historic Billboard sweep shows no signs of slowing down. With three albums occupying the chart’s highest positions simultaneously, the rap icon has once again proven why he remains one of the most powerful names in global entertainment.
